Minimum Requirements
High school graduate preferred. Ability to read, write and comprehend specific instructions. May be required to work any day of the week including holidays and weekends. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Job Duties
Responsible for providing a clean, sanitized environment. Cleaning, dusting,
mopping, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and buffing floors. Completes
assigned tasks timely and accurately. Maintains patient confidentiality
and promotes a positive image of the hospital and the Environmental Services
Department. Able to work under stress and maintain a friendly disposition.
Any other duties as directed by the Director of Environmental Services.

Hours: FT;80 hours per pay; Shift varies. PT; 33-71 hours per pay. PRN; up to 32 hours per pay (as needed)

Culinary Assistant (PRN)

Minimum Requirements
High School Graduate preferred. Previous training and/or experience in healthcare food service is desirable. Must be able to perform basic math calculations. Have a Food Handler’s or Manger Food Safety certificate or obtain one. May be required to work any day of the week including holidays and weekends.
Job Duties
The Culinary Assistant/Sandwich Preparation employee will be responsible for preparing the sandwich/wrap station in the cafeteria for service and making items at this station during the lunch and supper serving times in the cafeteria. The Culinary Assistant assists with assembly and delivery of patient trays, serves as a line worker or cashier in cafeteria serving line, and dishwashing, pot and pan washing duties. Performs some food preparation procedures including assembly of cold food items for patients, making of wraps and sandwiches for cafeteria. This position will have responsibilities of putting away stock. The Culinary Assistant will also perform basic diet office procedures and use the computer terminal.

Plant Operations Laborer (FT)

Minimum Requirements
Valid Illinois driver's license. High school graduate or equivalent. Willingness to learn mechanical systems with potential to progress to a Plant Operations Technician position. Ability to follow directions and deductive reasoning skills required. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide service and communication to customers of all ages. Ability to perform on-call coverage.
Job Duties
The Plant Operations Laborer performs delivery of supplies to physician's offices, sets up meeting rooms, daily trash pick-up, landscape care, supply inventory, cleaning and maintenance of departmental vehicles, and assist Plant Operations Technicians.
Job Type: FTHours: Full Time; 80 hours per pay. Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm. On call coverage required.
