WGH Recognized as One of the 374 Cleanest Hospitals in the Nation
Wabash General Hospital was honored to receive recognition from Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the 374 cleanest hospitals in the nation. This prestigious list highlights WGH's dedication to maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, reflecting their commitment to high-quality care.
"Congratulations to our Environmental Services team for their dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to creating a safe and clean environment for every patient. A clean hospital is vital not only for the well-being of our patients but also for the overall quality of care we provide. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and this award is well deserved." stated Nathan Stevenson, Vice President of Project Management and Infrastructure.
Becker’s has compiled a list of the hospitals with a CMS 5-star rating for cleanliness. CMS’s Patient survey (HCAHPS)- Hospital database listed hospital ratings based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems surveys. This is a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their experience during a recent inpatient hospital stay. The surveys were completed between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024. The data was most recently updated on January 8th.
