We Promote a Healthier Future for Your Child

Wabash General Hospital offers a caring environment for young patients from birth through adolescence so they can grow and thrive – physically, emotionally, and cognitively – as they develop. We recognize how a sick or injured child affects the family unit as a whole, but as our patient’s mother or father, you can rely on us for the support and guidance to ensure their healthier future. Parents are encouraged to voice any concerns or ask any questions during their child’s appointments and also to communicate any relevant changes you’ve recently noticed in your child.

Youngsters need ongoing pediatrician visits, even when they’re feeling well. It’s important to bring your child to their pediatrician for ongoing checkups because they are continuously growing and developing, especially babies and toddlers who do so on a weekly and monthly basis. Their needs continue to change throughout their childhood and adolescence, too, particularly during puberty. Well-child checkups also provide the opportunity to keep you child up-to-date on necessary immunizations.

Contact Us at Wabash General Hospital

Whether your child needs to see a pediatrician for a fever, injury, or any other ailment, we are here to help. We also encourage expectant parents to choose a pediatrician before their new baby is born to have the medical attention the infant needs in those crucial first few days and weeks of life. Our team’s goal is to help your child thrive physically, emotionally, and socially, as they grow. If your child needs the expertise of a pediatric specialist, we will coordinate care with those providers.
