Central Scheduling

The Centralized Scheduling Department at Wabash General Hospital was implemented in 2022. The Centralized Scheduling Team assists the physician office by verifying and obtaining authorizations from insurance for upcoming treatment and scheduling the patient for ordered procedures. Currently, the following WGH Departments utilize the Centralized Scheduling Department:

• Nutrition/Dietician
• Radiology (MRIs, CTs, Ultrasounds, Mammograms, Bone Density Testing, etc.)
• Respiratory (Pulmonary Function Testing, Stress Testing, etc.)
• Sleep Studies (Home Sleep Studies, In-House Sleep Studies, etc.)
