​Sarah Turner, LAT, ATC
Director of Athletic Training Services & Athletic Performance

Sarah Turner​Sarah Turner originates from Berryville, IL. She graduated from East Richland High School in Olney, IL. She continued her education at Olney Central College and Southern Illinois University-Carbondale graduating with her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training. She became a certified Athletic Trainer in April 2012 and joined Wabash General Hospital Sports Medicine that same year. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys watching and attending college basketball games.

AJ Ola, LAT, ATC
Lead Athletic Trainer

Wabash Valley College
AJ Ola​AJ Ola is originally from Sparta, IL where he graduated high school. After graduating he went to Blackburn College in Carlinville, IL to play football. He then transferred to McKendree University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training. AJ joined Wabash General Hospital Sports Medicine in 2014 and covers Carmi High School, Grayville High School, and Wabash Valley College. In his free time, AJ enjoys golfing, softball, sand volleyball, and playing fantasy football. He also loves to watch football and hockey, especially the Bears and Blackhawks.

Tom Barkoski, MS, LAT, ATC

Mount Carmel High School
Tom Barkoski​​Thomas J. Barkoski originates from Romeoville, IL. He graduated from Lewis University in 2016 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Athletic Training. In 2018 he received his Master's of Science in Kinesiology from Western Illinois University. He received his Athletic Training Certification in 2016 and joined Wabash General Hospital in 2023.

Cassandra Kohlhause, LAT, ATC

Grayville High School, Edwards County High School
Cassandra Kohlhause​Cassie Kohlhause originates from Mount Carmel, IL. She attended and graduated from Mount Carmel High School. In 2009, she earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Union University in Jackson, TN. She joined Wabash General Hospital Sports Medicine in 2015. Her athletic training experience spans from high school, NAIA, Division I, and clinical settings. During her down time, Cassie enjoys watching football, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Mary Grace Inyart, LAT, ATC

Richland County High School
Mary Grace Inyart​Mary Grace Inyart originates from Olney, IL. She graduated from Richland County High School in 2016. She continued her education at Olney Central College and Eastern Illinois University graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training is 2021. She became certified Athletic Trainer in December of 2021 and joined Wabash General Hospital Sports Medicine in January of 2022. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and baking, spending time with her friends and family, and walking her dog.

Will McAlister, MS, LAT, ATC

Flora High School, North Clay High School
Will McAlister​Will is originally from Centerville, Tennessee. He graduated from Hickman County High School in 2016. He continued his education at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science in 2020. He then earned a Master's degree in Athletic Training at the University of Evansville in 2022. Will became a Certified Athletic Trainer in June of 2022 and joined Wabash General Hospital Sports Medicine in the same month. In his spare time, Will loves to cheer on the Tennessee Titans and Boston Celtics, golf, and spend time with family and friends.

Bennett Richter, MS, LAT, ATC

Carmi-White County High School
Bennett RichterBennett Richter is originally from Breese, IL where he graduated from Central Community High School. He then went on to continue his education at McKendree University, earning his Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science and Sports Performance in May of 2021 and his Master's of Science in Athletic Training a year later in 2022. While at McKendree, Bennett was member of the Bearcat Football team earning Great Lakes Valley Conference: Academic All-Conference Honors 2018-2022. Bennett joined Wabash General Hospital Sports Medicine in July 2022 and covers Carmi High School. In his free time, Bennett enjoys grilling, working out, listening to country and rock music, and spending time with friends and family. He also loves watching college football and St. Louis Blues hockey.

Emily Hanneman, MS, LAT, ATC

Red Hill High School
Emily HannemanEmily is from New Palestine, Indiana and graduated from Triton Central High School. She went on to continue her education at the University of Indianapolis, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science. Emily then went onto earn a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training at Manchester University in 2022. In her free time she likes to play golf and softball. She also enjoys traveling, playing with her dog and spending time with friends and family.

Jami Nobbe, MS, LAT, ATC

Wayne City High School, Cisne High School
Jami Nobbe​​Jami originates from Seymour, Indiana, where she graduated high school. She then went on to continue her education at the University of Evansville, earning her Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise Science in May of 2022. A year later she completed her Master's of Science in Athletic Training in 2023. Jami has joined Wabash General Hospital Sports Medicine in July of 2023 and covers Wayne-City High School as well as Cisne High School. In her free time, Jami enjoys listening to music, playing with her pets, crafting, and spending time with friends and family.

Paige Parkins, MS, LAT, ATC

Lawrenceville High School
Paige Parkins​​​​​​Paige is from Springfield, Illinois. She graduated from Chatham's Glenwood High School in 2017. She continued her education at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. She then went on to earn her graduate degree from Illinois State University, graduating in 2023 with a master's in Athletic Training. In her free time, Paige loves to craft, take care of her house plants, and go on walks and hikes. She also enjoys watching football and gymnastics. Fun fact: Paige was in the Jr. Olympics for tumbling!

​Trevor Kennard, Athletic Performance Specialist

Trevor KennardTrevor Kennard is originally from Mount Carmel, IL where he graduated from Mount Carmel High School. He went on to continue his education at the University of Southern Indiana, earning his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in May of 2021. Trevor earned experience at University of Southern Indiana by interning with their Strength and Conditioning Coach. Trevor also interned with Virginia Tech University, under the Strength and Conditioning staff for the Football Program for six months. Trevor joined Wabash General Hospital in November 2021 to provide athletic performance services to high school and junior college athletes in the southeastern IL area. In Trevor’s free time, he enjoys weightlifting, sports and spending time with his family and friends.

Adrian Lopez, Athletic Performance Specialist

Adrian LopezAdrian Lopez is originally from Fairfield, Illinois, where he graduated from Fairfield Community High School in 2017. He continued his education at the University of Southern Indiana, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in May 2021. Adrian has internship experience with the strength coach at USI, as well as experience as the strength coach for baseball athletes at Next Level Sports Academy in Evansville, IN. Adrian joined Wabash General Hospital in July 2022 to expand athletic performance services across high school and junior colleges in the Southern IL area. In his free time, Adrian enjoys relaxing with his family and hanging out by the grill.

Jacob LedgerwoodJake Ledgerwood is originally from Washington, Indiana, where he graduated from Washington High School. He continued his education at the University of Southern Indiana, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science in 2022. He gained experience working at Greene County General Hospital in Linton, Indiana, becoming a certified strength and conditioning specialist in 2022. Jake joined Wabash General Hospital in June 2023 to expand athletic performance services across high school and junior colleges in the Southern IL area. In his free time, Jake enjoys video games, sports, and spending time with family.​

Andrew Gognat, Athletic Performance Specialist

Andrew is originally from Bridgeport, Illinois where graduated from Red Hill Highschool. He continued his education at Illinois college and studied kinesiology with a focus in exercise science. Andrew interned for three years with the strength and conditioning program at Illinois College and worked with multiple sports. In his free time Andrew enjoys playing video games and weightlifting.
